Further information on this Ford painting: A rare subject, the 10cwt Fordson/Thames commercial vehicle built from 1938 to 1957 seen here in standard van style. This popular sit up and beg van, powered by the sidevalve 1172cc engine, was also available as an estate car (Utilecon), pickup, gown van and as a chassis/cab for coachbuilders to add their own unique style of coachwork.
